My sewing machine is smoking now

It only took eight nap times, three phone calls to Mom, and two help sessions with her to sew this romper for Little Lady.  Patterns are hard for me!  She looks pretty cute in it though...

I got brave after accomplishing working with a pattern so I rigged these up on the fly in a mere two nap times, complete with bottom ruffles and leg ruffles.  Boy, do I feel like big stuff now.

That pair went so well, I decided to make another ... with a double ruffle...  I'm pretty biased, but those are darn cute!  The baby isn't bad, either...

  4. Gorgeous!! I especially love that brightly colored flowered fabric in the first picture. Where id it come from? What fabric is it?

  5. It's from JoAnn's Fabrics. I think the line is called Tutti Frutti.

  7. So, I have to say I think your daughter would look adorable in a flour sac. She just has the baby "it" factor. But, your clothes are extra cute on her. I love the double ruffles too.

I giddily bought a sewing machine a few years back and got on a sewing streak, but it's been over a year since I've used it. I don't think I remember how!
