Our YELLOW color pail:
ring from a baby plate
frisbee
seal bath toy
bumpy cylinder from our soft blocks
felt rectangle
plastic egg
foam letter D
crocheted flower
wooden banana
bumpy plastic lemon
squeaky block
three cars
chenile stem ring
Yellow is Mini Me's favorite color and he was delighted to help me get this color pail ready. He even generously supplied three yellow cars and not once requested them back! And again, he took the time to tell Little Lady what all the yellow things are. Yellow is fun for everyone!

Yellow objects look so bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of questions for you
ReplyDeleteHow old was your little one when you started doing the color pails? I want to do something similar with my soon to be 18mo old.
Where did you find your pattern for the crocheted flowers?
Sarah, We started doing these things when she was 13 months old but I think you could adapt the ideas to many ages. A lot of things we did, my preschooler thought were fun, too.
ReplyDeleteThe crochet flowers were something my grandma made over 20 years ago. We found them in her craft supplies when she passed away. I don't have a pattern. They are pretty, though, aren't they?
