A Year of ABCs: A fresh start

When Mini Me was 16 months old, I started doing formal activities with him as we went through each letter of the alphabet.  You can see all our A-Z activities here.

Little Lady is 18 months old and we've started a fresh year, so it's time to start her very own year of ABCs!  We will spend two weeks doing art, literacy, math, movement, music, science, and Spanish activities for each letter.  We will also have a letter pail filled with letter-related items and a printed coloring page from this site to color, paint, or decorate each week.

Some of the activities I'm recycling from Mini Me's ABC activities and some are new and exciting.  I can't wait to watch her grow through the alphabet!

Stay tuned for our "A" posts including apples, animals, and an abacus...

  1. It's so fun to watch kids learn and explore at that age. I'm excited you're starting again so I can steal, ahem, I mean borrow your ideas. :)

  2. Borrow away - that is the goal of the blog! Plus, it's not like I haven't borrowed most of the ideas myself. We're sharing!
