D is for Do-a-Dot markers.
Few things bring Little Lady more joy than painting so we spent a very long time making dots with our Do-A-Dot markers. She dotted up an entire page with various colors and the fun activity reinforced her habit of standing at the art closet crying "Pain! Pain!" which means that if we do not paint then our ears will be in pain from her protest.
D is for daddy books.
Little Lady enjoyed reading Daddy is a Cozy Hug by Rhonda Gowler Green with her main man, Daddy, of course. There was no need to practice saying "Da da" as that is out of her mouth approximately every minute as it is!
D is for D-pail sort.
We did not get to this exact activity between play dates, story time and toddler tantrums. One day we did do a play food sort and patterned our many pretend lemons and tomatoes, though there was not a "D" in sight!
More D activities are coming soon!
