Wet foam letter fun

We have used our bathtub foam letters in dozens of different ways:
Fairytale fun
Alphabet hunts and here and here
Snow games
Word family practice
Upper and Lowercase letter matching

They are really versatile and one of my favorite toys.
One day, to find a few minutes of peace to scrub the bathrooms, I got out the foam letters and two squirt bottles of water. I put the kids on the porch where there are plenty of windows in reach, and showed them how the foam letters and numbers would stick to the windows when wet!
I saw Little Lady doing some color grouping and I thought Mini Me would try out some new words but he liked just squirting and sticking. He did do his name and Little Lady's name.
.... and then the bathrooms were clean!

  1. Good idea. It's always nice to have a few minutes to clean and this is such a fun way to get them.

  2. So fun! I love foam shapes and letters to play with on the window or in the tub.

  3. It's a cute idea. I think it's a good way to make her familiar with the letters and colors.
